Natsir Kongah as Chair of the PPATK Public Relations Group in a discussion entitled “Online Gambling Emergency”, Saturday (26/8/2023).
The Indonesian government is also trying to combat this by blocking several online gambling sites. Director General of Information and Public Communication of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Dirjen IKP Kominfo), Usman Kansong, said, “The government has blocked 1 million online gambling slots in Indonesia’s virtual world.”
But it cannot be denied, the existence of online gambling sites is like an expression; one falls and a thousand spring up. There is always a gap for online gambling service providers to reappear in the lives of Indonesian people.
